It was in the years 1947-1948, that a group of workers and civil servants, all football enthusiasts, decided to create the ASEC MIMOSAS.
They originally came from Dahomey (Benin), Upper Volta (Burkina Faso), Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Senegal, Lebanon and France.
They had a simple and generous idea: that the children should have fun… by playing football, and so did Guy Fabre, the first professional coach of ASEC from 1952-1953.
Since its inception, ASEC Mimosas has had 18 presidents from Joseph Kouamelan to Roger OUEGNIN. More info
The yellow and black club has employed more than 20 coaches from Stanislaus Tronnu to Siaka Traoré.
The Club has known a host of players that have marked its history.
