This time, the Mimosas negotiated the beginning of the game by being rigorous and vigilant in between games and in defense while pressing in bulk offensively as well as defensively. The Williamsville Red and White continue to push for the fault. They are close to finding it when their striker KOUTCHE Kabirou, well served in the penalty area, controls the leather and shoots, but misses the frame of the goal (42′). Half-time came on the score of 1-0 in favor of ASEC Mimosas.

On the resumption, ASEC Mimosas cornered the WAC and managed to double the mark thanks to SAKO Oumar who took a deflection of the head of ZEZE Serge Eric following a free kick well fired by POKOU Serge (64′). The WAC has pride and fights for a penalty that transforms CHENENE Jerry to reduce the score (2-1; 25′). The game comes alive.
